In einer exklusiven Modenschau präsentiert SCHAAF am 02. Mai die aktuelle Kollektion “Don’t Tell The World That We Know” & eine Vorschau auf 2013.
Die anschließende 8-tägige Mode-Ausstellung beinhaltet auch einen POP-UP-STORE und ein OFFENES ATELIER. Im Store können einzelne Kollektionsteile gekauft und bei Bedarf in der Schnittgröße angepasst werden. Das Offene Atelier bietet Einblick in die Arbeit der Designer und die Möglichkeit zum künstlerischen Dialog.

ITEM OF APRIL sweatpants “Jack Sheppard”

This April ITEM OF THE MONTH are the sweatpants JACK SHEPPARD.This cosy sweatpants are made for you if you just hate getting up in the morning, leaving your bed.. It enables you to feel relaxed and sophisticated at the same time. Made from rayon (65% VI 30%PA 5%EA) to give you the finest comfort.
Jack Sheppard is the fourth item of the first cycle of the ITEM OF THE MONTH series in 2012 which will be a wearable addition to the character “Escapee” (who we introduced to you for the “Don´t Tell The World That We Know” 2012 collection). Each series consists of six individual collection pieces which are available in our very own Online Store.
Jack Sheppard (4 March 1702 – 16 November 1724) was a notorious English robber, burglar and thief of early 18th-century London. Born into a poor family, he was apprenticed as a carpenter but took to theft and burglary in 1723, with little more than a year of his training to complete. He was arrested and imprisoned five times in 1724 but escaped four times, making him a notorious public figure, and wildly popular with the poorer classes.

ITEM OF MARCH short coat “Clarence Anglin”

This March ITEM OF THE MONTH is short coat CLARENCE ANGLIN.
The back seam of this asymmetric short coat made from black popeline is staggered. It has two built in side pockets as well as an astounding zipper detail: Underneath one of the two front zippers is another pocket – the second one can be used to modify Clarence’s overall look.
Clarence Anglin is the third item of the first cycle of the ITEM OF THE MONTH series in 2012 which will be a wearable addition to the character “Escapee” (who we introduced to you for the “Don´t Tell The World That We Know” 2012 collection). Each series consists of six individual collection pieces which are available in our very own Online Store.
On Clarence Anglin: Alongside his brother and fellow bank robber John and Frank Morris, Clarence escaped Alcatraz in the famous June 1962 escape. All three of them were declared dead by drowning in the San Francisco bay, although none of their bodies were found. Rumors have it that the might still be alive, making their escape last for about 50 years by now.

By the way: Frank William Abagnale, Jr. (born April 27, 1948) is an American security consultant known for his history as a former confidence trickster, check forger, impostor, and escape artist. Abagnale’s life story provided the inspiration for the feature film “Catch Me If You Can”.

By the way: Tyrone Williams “Ty” Conn (January 18, 1967 – May 20, 1999) was a Canadian bank robber. He was the only person in the last half century to escape over the wall from the Kingston Penitentiary, one of Canada’s most secure prisons.

This month’s ITEM OF THE MONTH is gorgeous AKEA.

ITEM OF THE MONTH in October 2011 is the bag WHATEVER II.
The renewed classic is available in an outside all-leather. It now features adjustable straps, a second outside pocket and can be folded to both sides (back and front). This version comes in finest calf skin leather and various cottons for the inward side and lining.

ITEM OF THE MONTH in August 2011 is the T-Shirt NUI.
NUI is a black, loose fit T-Shirt. A big pocket made from polyurethane coated polyester is attached to the left side of the chest. This contrasts to the gorgeous casual appeal and adds a complex detail to the clean T-Shirt. The phrase „Nui“ is Hawaiian an translates to „big“.
