Roger Bushell is the fifth and John Dillinger is the sixth item of the first cycle of the Item Of The Month series in 2012 which will be a wearable addition to the character Escapee (who we introduced to you for the Don’t Tell The World That We Know 2012 collection). Each series consists of six individual collection pieces which are available in our very own online store.

Sometimes it’s not possible to put all your love and energy into two projects at the same time. As we always want to create garments of high quality we decided to present two items of the month together when there is time for it. This was because we had our huge presentation of the new Schaaf collection in May. So, the time is now!

We proudly present our Item Of The Months for May and June which are:
the skirt Roger Bushell and the blouse John Dillinger.
Roger Bushell is a basic skirt with a nice little draping part around the anterior hip area which makes you feel like a dark version of Marlene Dietrich. John Dillinger is a soft and flimsy bat wing blouse which can be worn closed or open. Both versions look pretty cool!

On Roger Bushell:
Squadron Leader Roger Joyce Bushell (30 August 1910 – 29 March 1944) was a South African-born British Auxiliary Air Force pilot who organised and led the famous escape from the Nazi prisoner of war camp, Stalag Luft III. He was a victim of the Stalag Luft III murders. The escape was used as the basis for the film The Great Escape. The character played by Richard Attenborough, Roger Bartlett, is modelled on Roger Bushell.

And John Dillinger:
John Herbert Dillinger, Jr. (June 22, 1903 – July 22, 1934) was an American bank robber of German descent in the Depression-era United States. He was charged with, but never convicted of, the murder of an East Chicago, Indiana police officer during a shoot-out. This was his only alleged homicide, and was likely not his action. His gang robbed two dozen banks and four police stations. Dillinger escaped from jail twice.
Director Michael Mann’s film Public Enemies is an adaptation of Bryan Burrough’s book Public Enemies: America’s Greatest Crime Wave and the Birth of the FBI, 1933-34.[35] The film featuresJohnny Depp as John Dillinger and Christian Bale as FBI agent Melvin Purvis.

This cosy sweatpants are made for you if you just hate getting up in the morning, leaving your bed… It enables you to feel relaxed and sophisticated at the same time. Made from rayon (65% VI 30%PA 5%EA) to give you the finest comfort.

Jack Sheppard is the fourth item of the first cycle of the Item Of The Month series in 2012 which will be a wearable addition to the character Escapee (who we introduced to you for the Don’t Tell The World That We Know 2012 collection). Each series consists of six individual collection pieces which are available in our very own online store.

Jack Sheppard (4 March 1702 – 16 November 1724) was a notorious English robber, burglar and thief of early 18th-century London. Born into a poor family, he was apprenticed as a carpenter but took to theft and burglary in 1723, with little more than a year of his training to complete. He was arrested and imprisoned five times in 1724 but escaped four times, making him a notorious public figure, and wildly popular with the poorer classes.

This March Item Of The Month is short coat Clarence Anglin.
The back seam of this asymmetric short coat made from black popeline is staggered. It has two built in side pockets as well as an astounding zipper detail: Underneath one of the two front zippers is another pocket – the second one can be used to modify Clarence’s overall look.

Clarence Anglin is the third item of the first cycle of the Item Of The Month series in 2012 which will be a wearable addition to the character Escapee (who we introduced to you for the Don’t Tell The World That We Know 2012 collection). Each series consists of six individual collection pieces which are available in our very own online store.

On Clarence Anglin: Alongside his brother and fellow bank robber John and Frank Morris, Clarence escaped Alcatraz in the famous June 1962 escape. All three of them were declared dead by drowning in the San Francisco bay, although none of their bodies were found. Rumors have it that the might still be alive, making their escape last for about 50 years by now.
